HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO BE DELIVERED?

Orders placed before 12pm on a normal working day are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this will be dispatched the next working day.

Delivery times vary from one day to a few days, due to the vast array of handling equipment, trucks, and spare parts we stock.

We do always aim for a very quick delivery, and if you order spare parts, you will probably receive them the next working day (if you order before 12pm). Whereas a large truck may take longer.

If you have any questions re delivery times, or need an urgent delivery, please contact us, as we will always strive to deliver to you as quickly as we can, and to help meet your needs.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY & RETURNS/REFUNDS POLICIES?

DELIVERY

Delivery charges are based on the item(s) and delivery location - Each item has a delivery cost attached for your convenience. If you are ordering several items, it may be worth checking with us, as we may have more suitable and cheaper alternatives to incorporate larger orders. Delivery charges are based on orders to manned business premises with the facility to unload the goods. We cannot deliver to unmanned premises.

We use nationwide companies to handle most of our deliveries. Our aim is to dispatch orders on time, every time. Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday usually leave us the same day.  Larger items may take an extra day to despatch on some occasions.

Royal Mail - Smaller/light weight packages may be sent by Royal Mail. This usually applies to orders up to 20kg.

UPS - Our lithium batteries are sent with UPS. Delivery is usually next day, however this could extend to two days depending on location and service.

Fedex - Some of our Lift Tables are sent with Fedex - don't worry if you don't see this option, our warehouse will despatch your order by the best means possible.

PalletForce - We have used Pallet Force for a number of years - all our larger equipment is sent through this pallet network.  All products despatched with Pallet Force are shipped on pallets; this enables ease of unloading when the order arrives at the destination. Pallet Force operate a large fleet of tail lift HGV nationwide, so unloading is simple, and there's no need for you to have a forklift available. All Pallet Force deliveries are 2-3 days as standard, we can ship for delivery next day and on Saturdays, however additional charges apply.  Please contact us if you need an alternative service.

Please note, failed deliveries with Pallet Force are subject to a redelivery fee. In most cases this is 75% of the original shipping cost. Alternatively you can collect from your local Pallet Force depot at no additional charge.

FACTORY ORDERS (PARTS ONLY): 

On some occasions, additional shipping costs may be charged. This is judged on a order by order basis. If your order incurs additional shipping charges, you will have the option to pay the additional charges or cancel your order and receive a full refund. Our sales team will contact you if this applies to your order.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

1. This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by GO-EPT Ltd.

2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must be in the original packaging.

3. Some types of goods are exempt from being returned for a refund where they are perishable, or where they are hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

4. Other types of services cannot be returned for a refund, for example where the service begins as soon as you make the payment (e.g. a downloadable software product) or a gift card.

5. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 14 working days after the date of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the goods or services you wish to return. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us or the original delivery costs.  Good must be unused, in their original packaging, and undamaged.

6. Our standard returns policy entitles you to a full refund of the purchase price if you change your mind (i.e. the goods or services provided are not faulty or were not described properly) within 14 working days.

7. If the item you purchased is faulty or does not work properly, or you think the item was not as described in the item description, please contact us before requesting a refund as we may be able to resolve your problem to your satisfaction.

8. Where you would like to return a physical product you have purchased, please contact us to let us know that you will be returning the item. To obtain a refund for a non-physical product (like a service) please contact us for further information about how this can be done.

9. Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and credit your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

10. If you haven't received a refund yet where we have told you we have issued one, please check your bank account or card statement to make sure it hasn't been received, and then contact your bank as some banks or card companies take a number of days to credit your account.

11. If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).

12. If an item you purchased was in a sale then it may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind. If you are in any doubt please contact us before making the purchase.

DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?

WARRANTY

We like to think you won't experience a fault with your purchase. However should a fault become apparent please contact us immediately on 0333 772 7726 or CLICK HERE to email us.

Our standard policy is for the item to be returned to our warehouse for inspection (points 1-3).  If you would prefer, we can carry out the warranty inspection at your premises - we can arrange this for you. There would be a travel cost associated with any visit to site, although you would not be liable for any labour or parts costs on a warranted repair.

1. Should the need arise to request a warranty claim on any product supplied by GO-EPT Ltd, the customer is responsible for returning the product to our designated warehouse.  Before any such return is initiated, contact should be made to to raise your claim. Once your claim to return the product has been accepted, you will be provided with the return delivery address.

2. On return of the product, it will be inspected by our technicians, and where the issue is deemed a warrantable part, the repair will be completed at no cost to the customer. Once the warranty repair is complete, the customer will be informed and collection of the product from our warehouse should be arranged. You will need to confirm the collection details with our customer services team prior to collection.

3. Where a product is returned and the claim is rejected, you will be responsible for collection or disposal of the product. Where the product can be repaired at cost, GO-EPT Ltd can quote for this work on request.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EQUIPMENT REQUIRIS ADDITIONAL PARTS?

While inspecting your equipment our technician will check if any parts are required. 

Where additional parts are required, you will be informed by our technician. 

You then have the option to purchase the parts and have them fitted during the same visit.

WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR FITTING PARTS PURCHASED WHILE YOUR TECHNICIAN IS ON SITE?

Any parts fitted during the visit will have no additional labour charge applied.

The only exception would be if our technician is asked to wait a significant duration of time for the parts purchase to be completed.

ARE THE SERVICES YOU PROVIDE PUWER98 COMPLIANT? 

All our service or repair visits are compliant with PUWER98 regulations. 

The worksheet emailed on completion, has all the required information you will require.

DO WE REQUIRE A LOLER INSPECTION ON OUR EQUIPMENT?

Some of the equipment we sell online is required to have a LOLER inspection at regular intervals.

For most equipment, the intervals would be 12 months.

LOLER regulations are specific to lifting equipment - manual and electric pallet trucks do not require a LOLER inspection.

However equipment with the primary purpose of lifting is required to be inspected - Equipment examples: lift tables, high lift pallet trucks, manual and electric stacker trucks, and platform lifters.

CAN GO-EPT LTD CARRY OUT LOLER INSPECTIONS FOR US?

Yes we can!

Usually, it is recommended that the person carrying out the LOLER inspection is independent of the company who services your equipment, this prevents a conflict of interest.

Many insurance companies also carry out LOLER inspections.

CAN WE SEND OUR EQUIPMENT TO YOUR WORKSHOP FOR REPAIR?

Yes, we carry out services and repairs daily at our national service centre in Sheffield.

We have equipment from around the UK arriving daily at our service centre, so by contacting us prior to sending your equipment, we can ensure it is correctly labelled when it arrives and be assigned to one of our in house technicians.

WE WOULD LIKE OUR EQUIPMENT SERVICING, BUT IT'S ONLY AVAILABLE DURING EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS, CAN YOU ASSIST WITH THIS?

Yes we carry out servicing during evenings and weekends, additional charges may apply.

We know how busy our customers can be, and remembering when your service is due can easily be missed.

For this reason our service team will contact you when your equipment is due its next inspection.  

They will confirm if you would like the service carrying out, and arrange a suitable day and time for the work to be completed.

Polyurethane wheels tend to be the most popular type, and are a cast wheel with a polyurethane tyre around the outside. This wheel achieves a better grip on smooth floors, and is quieter than nylon. This type of wheel is also better suited for use on delicate flooring.

Nylon wheels are hard, rigid plastic, and they are better in areas that may have debris on the floor, i.e., engineering workshops, warehouses, etc., as debris does not penetrate into the wheel.
