The neutral spring plate is required to enable the 3 positions of the trigger. Fitted in combination with the neutral spring, these parts ensure the truck has all 3 operations for the trigger.
This improves workability of the pallet truck by allowing the user to operate the handle (tiller arm) without the truck elevating higher than required, or putting additional strain on the hydraulic system. It is considered an essential component for the truck to operate as intended.
