BT Steer Axle.
Genuine BT Steer Axle - Part #220310.
The steer wheel axle is held in place by an 8mm roll pin. On some models, replacing this with an M8 bolt and nyloc nut gives additional security.
When installed, the steer wheels are to be fitted on to the axle. Attention should be paid to the area between the outer bearing in the steer wheel and the circlip groove. If there is sufficient space, a nylon spacer requires installing prior to the circlip. Therefore preventing loads against the circlip causing lateral movement of the steer wheel on the axle.
