So, which type of truck is best for us?

A stainless steel pallet truck is made purely of stainless steel. This offers superb corrosion resistance, which ensures it is perfect for environments such as food production and processing and pharmaceuticals.  These trucks are also very easy to sanitise and keep clean.

Whereas a galvanised pallet truck is manufactured from strong, durable steel, with a zinc coating, which helps to prevent rusting and corrosion in damp and wet conditions. This means that a galvanised truck is the cheaper option for less demanding conditions where high sanitation isn’t quite as essential.

To summarise, stainless steel does provide better corrosion resistance, but it is not as cost effective as a galvanized steel model.
