What is the highest safe weight limit a Pallet Truck can handle?

The answer to this depends on so many factors that need to be taken into consideration, including, most importantly, the type of pallet/pump truck the operator is using, the environment in which the pallet truck is being used, and the duration of time a truck is being used for, amongst many other factors.
A Pallet Truck’s average maximum weight/handling limit…
This is again dependent on a few factors. However, the first and most important rule is to know the weight/handling limit of the pallet truck you are operating. The maximum handling limit of a manual pallet truck can vary so much from model to model; for instance, we have models with a 2500kg weight limit, right up to a heavy duty model which will hold 5000kg. For the electric pump trucks we stock, the handling/weight limit varies from 1500kg to 3000kg. So it is vital to know that different models of pallet truck have different weight limits, and this information will be provided when you purchase them. You would then need to adhere to the maximum handling limit for the truck, and ensure all operators are aware of the weight limit of any said truck you use, as you may have a few different trucks for various tasks, and weight limits will vary. For example, our Heavy Duty Pallet Truck has a maximum load capacity of 5000kg, and this is clearly stated on the truck body, as is the case with each and every different model, as it is a legal requirement. You should always ensure that you and your operators are fully aware of the specific weight limit of every single one of your pallet trucks, to ensure that everyone is handling the trucks in the safest possible manner. We stock a range of pallet trucks, both manual and electric, with different weight limits, and these include heavy duty trucks, low profile models, weigh scale pallet trucks, platform lifters, stainless steel pump trucks, galvanised models, high lift pallet trucks, scissor lift tables, tow trucks, and more.
