They are an integral piece of equipment that will help to lift and move pallets and goods around warehouses. Really, you may think of them as a simplified forklift truck.

A high lift pallet truck can raise a pallet up to a safe working height without exertion. This reduces the need for operators to twist or bend to handle heavy loads. They can either be manual or electrically powered (see below).

PUWER, also known as PUWER98, is basically ‘Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)’
