Looking for services or repair to your existing equipment? 

Our experienced technicians have over 25 years of experience working on many different types of handling equipment.

We are also a leading UK importer of parts for each model we sell on our website, so we are best placed to keep your equipment in good, safe working condition.

To request a service or repair, please visit this service request page here and complete the form, alternatively you can contact us via 0333 772 7726 or CLICK HERE to email us, and include the make and model of equipment (if known) and the quantity you require attention for.  If you can send a few pictures too, that will help us provide with a better idea on the associated cost.

All records of the work completed are uploaded to our customer portal, from here you can see any work requested, completed along with any technician comments.

The portal lists all your equipment serviced and logs them, enabling you to see a service history of the work after several visits.

FAQs

What happens if my equipment requires additional parts?

  • While inspecting your equipment our technician will check if any parts are required. Where additional parts are required, you will be informed by our technician. You then have the option to purchase the parts and have them fitted during the same visit.

Will there be additional charges for fitting parts purchased while your technician is on site?

  • Any parts fitted during the visit will have no additional labour charge applied. The only exception would be if our technician is asked to wait a significant duration of time for the parts purchase to be completed.

Are the services PUWER98 compliant?

  • All our service or repair visits are compliant with PUWER98 regulations. The worksheet emailed on completion, has all the required information you will require.

Do we require a LOLER inspection on our equipment?

  • Some of the equipment we sell online is required to have a LOLER inspection at regular intervals, for most equipment the intervals would be 12 months. LOLER regulations are specific to lifting equipment - manual and electric pallet trucks do not require a LOLER inspection.  However equipment with the primary purpose of lifting is required to be inspected, Equipment examples: lift tables, high lift pallet trucks, manual and electric stacker trucks and platform lifters.

Can GO-EPT Ltd carry out LOLER inspections for us?

  • Yes we can. Usually, it is recommended that the person carrying out the LOLER inspection is independent of the company who services your equipment, this prevents a conflict of interest. Many insurance companies also carry out LOLER inspections. 

Who do we contact if we have a specific requirement for service and repairs, or to obtain a quote for larger quantities of equipment?

  • Call us on 0333 772 7726 and choose option 1 for our service team, or CLICK HERE to email us. We carry out on-site servicing throughout the UK, or we have a national service centre located in Sheffield.

Can we send our equipment to your workshop for repair?

  • Yes we carry out services and repairs daily at our national service centre in Sheffield.  Before sending your equipment to our service centre, please contact us on 0333 772 7726 or CLICK HERE to email us to book it in. We have equipment from around the UK arriving daily at our service centre, so by contacting us prior to sending your equipment, we can ensure it is correctly labelled when it arrives and be assigned to one of our in house technicians.

We would like our equipment servicing, but it's only available during evenings or weekends, can you assist with this?

  • Yes we carry out servicing during evenings and weekends, additional charges may apply. Contact our service team to obtain a quote.

We would like our equipment servicing at set intervals, i.e. every 6 months or annually. Do we have to book the visit online each time?

  • We know how busy our customers can be, and remembering when your service is due can easily be missed. For this reason our service team will contact you when your equipment is due its next inspection.  They will confirm if you would like the service carrying out, and arrange a suitable day and time for the work to be completed.
